About us
Toronto and Districts Garden Club Inc. (TDGC) was founded in 2008 by Jan Hissey. The club originally met at the Carey Bay Scout Hall in Excelsior Street Carey Bay but soon out grew those premises and moved to our current location at The Community Hall, George Street Marmong Point, NSW.
The club is an incorporated body and an affiliate of the national body, Garden Clubs of Australia. TDGC is managed by a volunteer management committee that is elected at the AGM each year.
Our members participate in:

monthly meetings on 3rd Thursdays February – November, include guest speaker, trade table, raffles and morning tea, 9am - 12 noon.

garden visits on 4th Thursdays in autumn and spring, 10am - 12 noon

Landcare group at 31-33 Middle Point Road Bolton Point
In 2023, the Toronto and Districts Garden Club hosted the Garden Clubs of Australia Biennial Convention and AGM over six days from Sunday 10th to Friday 15th of September 2023. An evaluation report on the convention to GCA and a feedback report have been compiled by the Secretary and are attached below.
